Half-Damper Pedal Provides Gradual Sustain
For nuanced expression, the YDP-S35 includes a half-damper pedal. Unlike a standard damper pedal that only provides on/off sustain, the half-damper pedal allows you to gradually increase sustain as you press down. The result is a range of resonance from subtle to robust, allowing you to shape phrasing and add depth to your performance. Two additional piano-style pedals provide una corda and sostenuto functionality for an authentic playing experience.
